App support

The BoomCellar app for Android shows the Wine Stock Index and its companies, the investor calendar and listing pipeline, and the newest Wine Stocks Monthly Brief issue — the same published data as this site, with alerts. Editorial research and market data, not investment advice.

Alerts

Alerts tab → switch on → allow notifications. The app then checks the feeds in the background about every three hours (Android decides the exact moment) and every time you open it, and notifies you once per event: an index move at or above the published threshold, a company joining or leaving the index, a calendar event within the week, a new Monitor issue. Switch off to stop. If nothing arrives, check that notifications are allowed for BoomCellar in Android settings and that battery optimisation is not restricting it.

Offline

Each screen keeps the last snapshot it fetched and shows it, marked with its date, when there is no connection. Pull down to refresh.

Watchlist

Star a company on the Companies tab to keep it at the top and see its last close. Stars are stored on your phone only; uninstalling the app clears them.
